At the beginning of 2017 God really began putting a burden on our hearts for the children that we encounter at the jail.  We were asked a question by the Pastor from CALVARY WORSHIP CENTER, "What can we do to help?"   We already knew the answer, "provide materials for the children."  The following day we had stacks of children's literature, crayons, books, and Bibles-for children of all ages (teens too)!

The following Friday we went out seemed like "kids night".

There were so many children!!

It is such an absolute honor to share Jesus with these precious children.  We encourage each child to talk to Jesus and we now get to send them home with something that will remind them!!

There is never a night that goes by that children are not present.  Children of all ages!  They are such a blessing!

Great things can happen in holding cells...

God has NO limits!

Before heading to the jail on Friday nights we gather for prayer.  On one particular night in (April 2019) we prayed strongly for the individuals that were in the holding cell waiting to be release.  We prayed that God would begin to speak to their hearts and draw them close to Him.

That night when we got to the jail we were greeted by 2 young men who had just been released.  They were so excited to find out we had prayer, food, drinks and Bibles for them.  They began sharing in a joyful, rather loudly way of how they just asked God to help them when they got released.  They had been praying while in the holding cell that God would reveal Himself to them.

God is so good and powerful...these young men experienced the power and love of Jesus that night!  God speaks....even in holding cells.

On June 29, 2022, Pamela Acosta, a very dear friend of NBM lost her life.  If you have any information surrounding details of her death PLEASE CONTACT DETECTIVE GARY HASKIN at 559-367-4734.  You will be missed and always loved.

Celebrations outside the jail....such a blessed time!

We are in full force again! With new members, a greater perspective on the needs and hope to offer we are confident that God is and will save souls and deliver men, women and children for His glory!

Building relationships is very important to NBM.  We have met so many wonderful people and have made lasting friendships and gained new family members.  The possibilities are endless through Jesus Christ & His never ending love!

Brother Bacilio made pillows for the kids at the jail and

they love them!

In the midst of the pandemic, we have been blessed to still be able to minister outside the jail. Although there are very, very few people, we do encounter some family members and released inmates.  While we may not have our normal set up outside, we are able to provide those we meet with a snack pack, tracts and a Bible.  God's work must continue!

While outside the jail on Friday nights we have the blessing of encountering and meeting so many beautiful people!  We are able to pray and/or visit with inmates that are being released, family members, staff members, and community members.

Isaiah 43:18 "Forget the past; I am doing a new thing!"

Our first annual banquet was held on Friday, November4th, 2016 at the Cornerstone Conference Center.  It was a night of great food, fun, and heartfelt testimonies.  Thank you to all who attended and gave that night!

After being released from jail in October of 2015, Auggie visited the Center for help.  After decades of addiction and homelessness he was seeking a new life.  He and his girlfriend, Kara struggled with getting into a program because they didn't want to be apart.

Auggie and Kara frequently stopped in to say hi, keep in touch and receive services.  They were no longer guests, they became part of the family.  After the Center shut down in early 2017 we lost contact with them.

Nearly a year later in January 2018 after a night out at the jail the team decided to drive around the streets to pass out hats/scarves.  God allowed us to connect paths again!

Auggie and Kara were in church, got baptized, married and looked healthy after being sober for nearly a year!  It was a wonderful joy and blessing to see the evidence of God in their lives!  Praise God!

We are so excited to announce a new couple to the ministry!  Will & Christina no doubt have a servant's heart and a deep love to Christ.  In June 2017 they joined the Friday night evangelism team at the jail.  Within minutes of being out there, they were already ministering to a young man.

The released inmates loved their homemade burritos and one release was blessed with a ride home.  It is truly an honor having them serve with us.

THERE IS HOPE IN THE MIDST OF A DARK WORLD....THE ANSWER IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE

JESUS THE CHRIST.

Typically we take umbrellas out on rainy nights, but the morning of a rainy Friday LIBERTY CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP donated a full size canopy!  That night a large storm hit--that canopy came in real handy!!  Thank you Lord for the provision!
