Granddaughter of the Zamoras, Alicia is a pillar in NBM. Going out to pray and minister to the children at the jail at the age of four and continues to do so at age sixteen. Alicia knows first-hand the devastation of addiction, incarceration and a broken home. But she finds her peace and joy in serving Jesus Christ. She is not afraid to tell others that Jesus is her hope and the one who has sustained her through her many life's troubles. Alicia is faithful in the ministry and is a blessing to all who meet her!
After a life of wasteful living, Emerson dedicated his life to Jesus in the 90's. Determined to change his way of living he diligently studies the Word of God and desires to share it with everyone! While out at the Jail Brother Emerson is always ready to give. He's known to our team as the Bible Man because he always has a Bible or two to joyfully give. He and his wife, Norma are a great asset to the team. He has been a faithful partner of NBM since 2013.
Young Brother Jacob, son of Brother Javier is a sweet blessing to NBM. Jacob's pure and unadulterated life shines through to all who know him. Brother Jacob's love for God and others is evident in his character and speech. Brother Jacob blesses others even in his quietness. NBM is so blessed to have such a young, strong, bold man on its team.
Birdie has helped in the ministry since 2017 and has been a big blessing in so many ways! She just recently started coming out to the jail on Friday nights and is active in all areas of the ministry. Birdie is a fierce prayer warrior and holds to the truth of deliverance and healing.

After her son's 7 year Methamphetamine addiction & life of crime Michelle quickly learned the pain of having a child lost to the streets and the system. Knowing Jesus Christ was her only source of peace and hope she wanted to offer the same to others and began ministering outside the Fresno County Jail in 2011.
As another mom joined her the ministry began as, Moms Praying for Moms.
Shortly after, she married her husband who joined her. Lorenzo's past of gangs, crime and incarceration compels him to hit the streets offering hope to those who live the lifestyle he once lived.
Both Michelle and Lorenzo share their testimonies in hopes of leading others to Christ, offering a new beginning to all who will receive it.
After living a destructive life & becoming pregnant Michelle gave her life to Jesus in 1992. She has devoted her life to serving Him & offering a new beginning to those she comes in contact with. Michelle & Lorenzo are honored to serve Jesus together as husband and wife.

Brother Javier began ministering at NBM during the time the Center was open. Him, his wife and children have been an instrumental blessing to NBM. His selfless giving of time, resources and talents has blessed many on and off the streets. Brother Javier knows first-hand the power of freedom after battling a life of addiction, separation and ungodly choices. Brother Javier shares of the amazing gospel of His Savior that freed him from his demons.

Both Will & Christina lived a life of entangled lies, sin and pain. After their 15 year relationship ended they both gave their lives to the Lord and reunited in marriage. They dedicate every aspect of their lives to the ministry of the Gospel. The two became a part of the ministry in a miraculous way, after their son received services through NBM. Today they are an inspirational part of NBM.
Brother Aurelio is the newest to our team! We are so full of joy that he has decided to come out and share his testimony and all God has done in his life. With a heart of compassion for others Brother Aurelio's sweet spirit is an encouraging way for others to see and experience God's love even in dark times. Brother Aurelio came to the Lord after having many questions and confused about his relationship with the Lord. After hearing the truth, he surrendered to the Lord's will for his life and serves him and others faithfully.

In November of 2022 the team began providing to go dinners for the released inmates and it's been such a blessing. Debbie is a long time financial supporter but was lead to provide the meals for the ministry every time NBM goes to the jail. Debbie not only is a faithful supporter, but is a pillar of prayers for the ministry.
After a complete heart change and restoration in many areas of her life, Stephanie joined the team in 2023 and joined with a fervent passion for the lost. Stephanie is such a wonderful asset to the ministry and the kingdom. We are blessed and excited to see all that God has for Stephanie in the ministry!
